The California State Library system is rolling out a brand new digital navigator program that offers free, over-the-phone tech support and resource referrals to anyone in the State. Meet Christian Theyer who is managing the project and bring your questions! June SF Tech Council Meeting
Join us on June 15 to learn more about UC's Lighthouse pilot for low-income CA seniors. “Older adults in affordable housing communities are one of the most underserved populations affected by COVID-19,” said CITRIS Health Director and Lighthouse project lead David Lindeman (and SF Tech Council Member!). “They are especially vulnerable due to limited access to information, connection, and health care services.”
Pauline Martinez, a doctoral student in Public Health Sciences at the University of California Davis, will join us to talk about the pilot.

ACP Workshop: Learn How to Sign People Up!
Community Tech Network will lead an informational webinar to help you sign people up for the ACP program. You'll learn about the ACP application process and CTN's experiences when assisting older adults in accessing their enrollment eligibility.

Join us in a conversation about assistive technology. We'll talk with folks from Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired and the Independent Living Resource Center about what's available in SF, what's happening in the world of assistive tech and connect you to the resources you need to stay up-to-date.

January SF Tech Council Meeting
Valerie Coleman, Program Analyst, Dept. of Disability & Aging Services, will join us to provide an update on the work of the Age and Disability Friendly SF Workgroup. The the final report of the ADF 2018-2021 Action Plan has been released and work is nearly complete on the 2022-2025 Plan. Learn more about what’s on deck for the next three years!

December SF Tech Council Meeting
Kaitlin Galanos from Unite Us will share information about the Unite California Network which serves San Francisco and San Mateo County in partnership with Kaiser Permanente. The UC Berkeley Data Science Team will also be sharing their final project with us, an “Interactive Map of Aging for San Francisco.” Don’t miss out!

We're getting ready for our the first ever SF Tech Council and friends Tech Support Popup. This is our last planning meeting before the event which will take place on Dec. 7, 2021.
A big shout out to Curry Senior Center, Self Help for the Elder, Felton Institute, Community Living Campaign, Mission Neighborhood Centers, and Community Tech Network for providing volunteers to make this happen.
